[GRAPHICS] Tutorial: Angst/Romance Poster
So I decided to maybe do some graphics tutorial since I won't be posting about Blogilates anymore... Let's get started!
I use Photoshop CS, so if you have anything higher than that, you're in luck!
I am going to use these two pictures of Kim Ye Rim and Choi Minho.
The trick for angst/romantic posters is to blend using a layer mask, and either desaturate the pictures, or using a dark texture.
1. Open photoshop and load your pictures.
2. Then load your background. You can use a black one, or any relatively dark background. I am using this one.
3. Resize your background to 1000x667 (widthxheight) and drag Ye Rim and Min Ho to the background. It does not matter who gets dragged first because you will blend them later on.
4. Create a layer mask for both characters. Then erase their background until you get something like this. Set your paintbrush to 90 (range) and 0 hardness.
5. From here, you can desaturate them or not, but to give the feel of angst (because I think both of them are way too bright), I will desaturate them. To do so, click on each picture layer and go to Image>Adjustments>Desaturate.
6. Then open these textures and do as follows.
Mode:Linear Burn Opacity: 55
Mode: Screen Opacity: 40
Mode: Overlay Opacity: 35
It should look something like this:
7. Now for the text. From now on, you can add whatever text you prefer, but since this is a poster for a graphics contest I am entering, I am going to add my title, and credits.

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 30/31
Today's the last day of July! I'm in a bittersweet mood with Blogilates right now..however, today made up for it. I went to a lot of places today with le sexy new iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4!! The phones came in the mail yesterday and I've been experimenting with them all day long~
And I returned to Twitter... haha. Link EXO's Growl dance version came out today, and I was spazzing when it uploaded. THOSE HOT MEN. UGH RUINING MY LIFE AND MY WALLET.
I just saw some previews of the album and wow. It's really amazing. The structure, cd, photobook, wow. Just wow.
I have something to say too... Um.. Since school will be starting in 15 days, I don't think I will have time to update every day like this. I get home late, and then I would have about 3 hours to eat and do more homework... Perhaps I won't even have time to do Cassey's daily workouts! But I know I will somehow put some cardio in there.
I am getting some cardio and arm workouts from a tennis class at school, so it's not like I'm giving up working out... So this might be the last time I'm going to post here for a LOOOOOOOOONG time. Although I will be active as a reviewer here: senseiempanda

Nothing really physically changed about me, except maybe a little of fat was shed off? Just a little. I definitely gained weight from the muscle ohmergad. And I've been only drinking water and hating other drinks ew. Eating food wise, I've definitely made more healthy choices.

#ThisIsMyJuly
#ThisIsMyJuly and I'm really dead. Ohmygoodness. During the second to last video, I died. I hate using plates because... I just can't use them!!!! Or a towel for hard-floors. Eek
I got back on track today~ I ate super healthy and even made the dinner for my family! Being in the kitchen is like remedy for me. It's so soothing, calming, and keeps me on track!
As I said previously, I would wake up early and sleep early.. But I ended up watching a drama with my sister yesterday and slept at 2am.. LOOL So we both got out of bed at approx 10am... :/
I'm going to finish writing this, and go upstairs and prepare for bed... Maybe another 30 minutes on the iPad before I sleep? LOL STUPID TECHNOLOGY.
Oh, did I mention? Or have you heard? Gd gd baby baby. That's right bish. Gd is coming to KCON. And who else is going to KCON? Me. Le. This lizard right here. OH YEAH.

Today was a really healthy day..except I didn't do my workout. Some people visited my home, and I had no way to complete my pilates without being all awkward and yelling out noises... lol And someone annoying came over too. Ugh

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 27
Woah! Starting tomorrow, it's a new day, a new week, and it's almost the end of July! (Ek school!). Also, on Monday, KCON will be announcing another "epic" artist! I'm thinking of Epik High (omg lol), but that's just trolling. I just hope it isn't SNSD because I will really go berserk and sell my ticket off immediately!
I've been eating mindlessly for these past two days: eating boxes of choco-pie. My mom hasn't really bought me ingredients to make what I want until today... So let's start healthy again tomorrow! It's another day, and another chance to regain myself!

Damn. I forgot to post this yesterday night too. I went out shopping with my family and came home really late... Then I watched episodes and episodes of MasterChef Korea Celebrity. So wayy much better than MasterChef USA. And there's Henry and Fei *o*
There was a thunderstorm last night and the morning sky looked really dark and gloomy :) My favorite~

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 25
So... I did yesterday's upper body workout (It was really fun! Especially the sexy broom one) and I did half of today's POP HIIT. I really couldn't do anymore, so I guess I'll just do the rest for tomorrow's cardio workout? Well, it's either doing that workout or replacing it with another cardio.
I'm kind of busy tomorrow, so let's see how it goes.
I got my class schedule today! Yayy.. No. I don't have much classes with my friends, but I hope to meet new ones? That like kpop like me? Lol Yes!

[REVIEW] INFINITE - Destiny
** Note, I will mainly do my reviews on my friend's blogspot here. She has "hired me" as a reviewer for kpop music videos and albums. Check out her site! There's also this other person who talks about fashion, beauty, and other non-kpop related things!! This review is just a copy and paste from what I wrote over there.

Cause you're my destiny!!
Infinite has made another comeback with "Destiny". The song and music video was released a week ago, and has reached over 1.5 million views (almost surpassing 2 million). For a change, they filmed the entire video in USA, Universal Studios. There were some controversies about their teaser video, but I'll delve into that later.
The music video has a lot of computer generated effects, and let me emphasize a lot. Although, I am a huge Inspirit, I do think they went overboard just a teensy bit. Teensy. Although I wouldn't blame Woollim. It's tough competition out there these days, and just having your pretty idol boy's won't work.
Other than the effects, everything was perfect! The filming angle, the choreography of the dance, their solo shots, their exceptional acting, etc. They used the filming area to it's limit and edited the video nicely.
Now, for the music. The intro was nice and soft; not too prominent as it takes away the focus of the song. Then, it leads to the leader, Sunggyu's beautiful strong voice. There was no out-of-place auto-tuning in the song (Infinite doesn't do that psh). In the chorus, the "huuuhuu" part was really captivating. I was strangely attached to that one part... It calms me...
Anyways, the ranging vocals from Sungjong's girly high notes to Hoya's deep and sexy rap fused perfectly within the song. The song in general is perfect, but the lyrics are .... not the best ones you would use for a hallyu star. It seems like Infinite's song writer is using Infinite to sing his feelings for a girl that left him. Similar to Infinite's previous song, The Chaser, the lyrics are about a girl who left them and they want her back (very cliche). It seems as if Infinite are becoming stalkers, begging the girl not to leave them. Who would leave seven perfectly handsome men?
This time around, the company was very considerate of our fan's pleads and allowed almost the same amount of screen time/singing lines to each member! That's right, the ignored member Sungyeol got more than a word/line! /fist pump
Back to the video teaser. There were controversies about Infinite being disrespectful about Asiana's airplane crash (you can google that up). In their teaser, there were scenes of broken airplane bits. Now, that is not possible at all because they finished filming wayyy before the plane crash occurred. Notice that the released music video is titled, Ver. B. Most likely, Ver. A contained scenes of the broken airplane and Woollim decided to respect the victims and their families, so they released a different version. (Super considerate!!)

So... I just finished eating 2 choco pies. Haha.
I completed my POP HIIT that I was supposed to do yesterday, today, but only 2/3 sets. Yes, it's incomplete, but I really couldn't continue to go on. My mom even had to tell me to stop. So I did, and didn't regret anything. Why? Because doing something is better than doing nothing at all. However, I did do the added cardio.
My dad decided to go out to eat merely because "we haven't went out to eat for dinner in such a long time". And as usual, we went to an Chinese restaurant. The place was really empty! They even closed off a section and opened a small section, the size of my living room (the section opened had about 10 four people tables and 5 party size tables).
The waiter and manager was reallllllllly nice to my family via serving wise and hostpilaty wise. I guess they just want more tip. Meh, they got it. My dad unhesitatingly gave out 20 dollar tip... If it were the cheap me, I would give 10 the most!!
School is almost coming up around.. Ugh I don't like school, not because of the homework load, but because of peer pressure... Uh.

Well... Nothing much to say for today because ... well.. it was a big fat YOLO day because my dad decided to take us out to eat and stay away from home until super late at night... Where he made another big feast.
During that feast, I didn't eat rice... I don't know why. It tasted nasty to me. Woah... So I just feasted on salad and boiled meat and fish. Healthy ish right?
My dad had to repair something that took him hours, and I'm just in the house snacking on chips, tofu snacks, and milk tea! In addition, I cleaned up my sibling's tables.... Which is mostly dumping everything that wasn't beneficial to them (aka drawing books, bracelets, toys, etc) in the trash bag. Sure, that could have been money thrown out, but I rather have them have a clean and clear space to do homework!!
Which resulted in me not being able to do my POP HIIT!!! Ugh. The cardio was actually do-able today!! Sad.. Oh wells, that means I'll have to push everything back one day! Today's my rest day then!!

Overall, today was kinda "hectic"? LOL I found out that the person who requested at my graphics shop is going to make a novel and use that graphic as the title cover. Ohohohoho. Allow me to spazz first. OHEMGEE. MY GRAPHIC? THAT LOUSY PIECE OF CRAP? OMG. ON A NOVEL? COVER? FRONT PAGE? LIKE THE THING THAT PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOK AT FIRST? OH. MY. GOODNESS. AJFKLFJDKLAFJKLJ Woah. That's legit..
I think it's a scam, but my hopes are up up up up up up!!
For dinner, I had a super filling feast. There was beef, cilantro, egg, chicken, etc. So much healthy protein!!~ I ate too much I couldn't even straighten my back afterwards! As I was claiming to my family that I was bloated... I was eating a banana and ice cream simultaneously!!!
Just now, I finished the new workout that Cassey posted, and my little sister joined along~ How cute! I taught her plank, push-up, double leg lift, earthquake, etc. She's so cuteee even though she kept on falling over!!

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 21
I can officially say this: I hate Sundays because of Blogilates. I hate doing anything with abs or upper body!!! Lower body is suitable for some odd reason... I got through today's workout anyways! Yayy.
Today was more of a "clean-up" day for me. I went to every single forum I made an account on and cleared up everything that needed to be cleared on. Today is national ice cream day too, so I will have ice cream. I don't care. Ice cream day = ice cream, right?
Also, I got my first poster request today!! I am super happy! I tried my best on it.

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 20
I think I"m in love with lower body days..because it's so easy! LOL Today's workout took exactly one hour! Whoop. I always preview the next day's workout, and when I saw it... I went viral. It looked so difficult!!
I'm actually eating chobani while typing this. I think I found a new way where I can do my cardio without actually feel like I'm doing it. Whenever I listen to kpop, I dance along to their songs and pretend I'm on stage. Don't judge me! Dancing is also a form of cardio, so I'll just do that every day now!

I'm actually eating chobani while typing this. I think I found a new way where I can do my cardio without actually feel like I'm doing it. Whenever I listen to kpop, I dance along to their songs and pretend I'm on stage. Don't judge me! Dancing is also a form of cardio, so I'll just do that every day now!

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 18/19
Ohmygosh. I forgot to post yesterday's post D: My sister was nagging me to accompany her to sleep yesterday night and I forgot about posting it!
Overall, today was a really great day!(: Yesterday also, even if I don't remember much about it! I went to the theaters today and watched so manyyy movies... Even though when you buy one ticket, you're only suppose to go to that movie! Haha. Everyone knows food inside the theaters are super expensive, and being the cheap Asian that I am, I brought my own food! Banana pancakes w/strawberries and bananas! I ate this throughout the time that I was at the theaters!
After the movies, I went out to eat Thai food, and it was superr duperr filling! It was expensive...so I thought I would go all out and eat the unhealthy foods! So another cheat day for me! Teehee.

3. Soba noodles w/ mushroom, egg, romaine lettuce, tomato, & chicken
4. Banana pancakes

1. Curry noodles w/ fishballs
2. Banana pancakes w/ banana and strawberries
3. Banana pancakes w/ banana and strawberries
4. Banana pancakes w/ banana and strawberries
5. Curry w/rice noodles

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 17
Well... Today was going really great, resulting in today's happy workout mood(: Today's workout wasn't that hard because I had already experienced the pain of 3/4 of the videos in the beginner's calendar.
I have to count today as my cheat day also... For dinner, I went all out: I ate what my mom cooked for dinner. Although it's full of protein and has vegetables, I still didn't feel good... I felt...dirty :/
I also decided to update my fanfiction... ohmygoodness. Let's hope the end results will be great because I don't feel confident about this story anymore. Initially, I did, but not anymore BLEGH
OH AND F(x) IS THE (ONLY) GIRL GROUP COMING TO KCON. They released the information 8 hours ago. I'm glad that it isn't SNSD.... F(x) is having a comeback soon, and performing at KCON, I can watch their live performance~ yayy

3. My yolo meal: whole lot of broccoli, one medium size steak, and steamed fish. Mmm delicious. Oh and I had ice cream and a banana after.
4. Blogilates' pancakes w/half a banana

#ThisIsMyJuly Day 16
I was contemplating whether today should be my cheat day or not... But then, I was like, oh screw it, let's eat LOOOL
I didn't really have any YOLO foods until I went out with my family and we just had to visit the food court. I got a non-fat yogurt with strawberries and syrup on top... Not really fat, I guess, but the strawberry syrup killed it. In addition, I had a few bites of pizza... It was nasty. I use to love that pizza, but it was quite unappetizing this time.. ohmygoodness wut is happening here
Today's POP HIIT wasn't that bad either today!(: Although...anything with planks/pushups kills me. I had to do the modified version, so I had bruises and scratches on my knee :(
This week is pure awesomeness. I bought kcon tickets yesterday, infinite's comeback mv was released, kang seung yoon's mp3 version of his new single was also released (I melted into hot goodiness~), and now, bap's hurricane's mv came out. woah. I need to write a review on both infinite and bap mvs.... Ideas..ideas...
Daily Meals:
1. Oatmeal (no milk...ran out lol), bananas, and one hard boiled egg (I'm not going to upload photos of what I upload quite a lot of times already... i.e. oatmeal)
2. Mushroom, onion, tomato, cheese omelette
3. Blogilates pancakes, romaine lettuce wraps (inside is the omelette w/o the egg) and tomato, & tofu and cilantro mix.
4. Yolo meals: cookies (they were too salty .___.) & the yogurt.
